Peter Marshall, CPA
Peter is the majority owner and managing partner of Peter Marshall & Company, P.C. Peter
holds an MBA in Accounting and a BBA in Finance from the University of North Texas in Denton,
TX. He has been a licensed CPA since 1999.
Peter specializes in helping business owners and entrepreneurs improve performance and realize
goals, all while minimizing taxes. His innovative approach and unique perspective on
successful business management have helped hundreds of clients increase profitability and enhance their
personal lifestyle.
Peter and his wife Denise live with their two teenage daughters and two dogs in Flower Mound.

Michelle Clark
Michelle Clark joined our firm in October of 2007 as an administrative assistant. Today, Michelle has many
different responsibilities at the firm. Michelle was promoted to Office Manager in 2011, and she also
serves as the firm's Payroll Coordinator, in addition to her regular client bookkeeping duties.
Prior to moving to Texas, Michelle worked in Public Relations, Health Care & Human Resources.
Michelle is pursuing her college education in Accounting and Office Administration.
Michelle is a mother of one beautiful daughter. Michelle enjoys spending time bowling & crocheting.

David Orf
Dave graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a
major in Accounting. He later received a MBA degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
Upon graduation from college, Dave worked three years for a small accounting firm in Missouri, and
subsequently received his CPA certificate. Dave left public accounting and worked in the telecommunications
industry for more than 30 years. During that time, Dave held positions of increasing responsibility in
various Finance Departments including Tax, General Accounting, Revenue, Business Analysis, Corporate
Accounting, and retired from the position of Executive Director – Corporate Operations where he was
responsible for all Payroll and Accounts Payable functions for Verizon Telephone Operations.
Following a short retirement, Dave began working for Peter Marshall and Company in 2006.
Dave and his wife have been married for more than thirty five years and are the proud parents of three
children.

Jan Warzecha, CPA
Jan joined the firm in 2010 and has extensive professional experience providing accounting, tax and
consulting services to private companies including manufacturing, restaurants, service type industries and
non-profit organizations. Jan obtained her Bachelors in Business Administration from Texas A & M
University in College Station, Texas and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1986. She is a member
of the Texas Society of CPA's and the Dallas Chapter of CPA's. She is married with three children
and enjoys spending time with her family.

Angela Curtis
Angela Curtis joined us in June 2015 as our Administrative Assistant. Through hard work and dedication, Angela
became the firm’s Billing Manager in October 2016. She is originally from Nevada, but has been a TX
resident for over a decade. Angela has over 20 years of customer service, and over 10 years of office
experience. Angela has an Associate's degree in Accounting and has accumulated exceptional organizational,
communication, and exposure to business concepts, that has dedicated her to go above and beyond with assisting
each client in meeting their individual needs.
Angela is a proud mother of 3 wonderful children, and enjoys spending time with them doing such things as
swimming, snowboarding, bike riding, and any other outdoor adventures.

Lynn
Ross
Lynn joined the firm in October of 2016. Her experience includes administrative support in the PR, marketing
and advertising industries, as well as retail sales, education and worship coordination for a local Flower
Mound church and, most recently, as a classroom teacher with Lewisville ISD. Lynn has a bachelor’s degree
from California State University, Northridge.
She is married with 2 grown children, a daughter-in-law and is excited about becoming a grandma in 2017!

Deborah
Weldon, CPA
Deborah has a BS in Business Education from Texas A&M University, Commerce and an MBA in Accounting from
the University of North Texas. She earned her CPA designation in 1978 and started her accounting career at
Arthur Andersen where she became involved in the oil and gas industry.
Deborah enjoyed working with several oil and gas companies in Fort Worth. When her family moved to Flower
Mound, Deborah became a teacher in LISD. While teaching accounting and other business subjects, she had the
privilege of coaching several state and nationally ranked accounting students. Deborah enjoys helping clients
with their accounting needs.
Deborah and her husband, Bill have two adult children. Yoga, reading, travel and spending time with family and
friends occupy her hours outside work.

Leslie
Shaw
Leslie joined our firm in June 2017. She has had many years of experience as Finance Manager for various
non-profits, Business Manager/Controller for several different types of for-profit businesses and over 4 years
of experience working at a CPA firm in the role of Staff Accountant.
All of this experience has given Leslie valuable exposure to many different types of business concepts. Leslie
is a Dallas native, a 3rd generation Texan and she loves aviation, reading, pottery and dogs.

Vicki
Thorp
Vicki joined the firm in 2016. She has completed and Associated Degree from Brookhaven College.
She came to Texas in a roundabout way. Being born in Anaco, Venezuela, then a move to France for six years,
then onto New Jersey for seven years where she graduated High School. Her parents were transferred again to
Texas where she followed them and started a family of her own.
She enjoys travelling, among going around the world in two weeks’ time with her parents and sisters,
scuba diving in Fiji and at many Caribbean Destinations with her husband and is an avid skier.
Vicki has been married for 38 years and has two grown sons.

Shannon Larsen
Shannon has 25 years of experience in customer service and the healthcare industry. Her background is diverse, from
being the first face of the business to a problem-solver on the other end of the phone. Most recently, she supervised a
medical procurement department.
Shannon moved to Texas in 2006. She has lived in five states and was born in Showhegan, Maine. Her daughter is
currently pursuing her MD in Galveston, her son is a firefighter paramedic, and her step-daughter plans to attend
college for criminal law. When she is not working, Shannon enjoys traveling back east, lounging by the pool, and
spending time with her kids.

Connie Schoenrade
Connie joined the Peter Marshall team in October 2018. She previously worked as Office Manager for a psychologist. She
has a broad range of skills and experience in supply chain, customer service and human resources for large companies as
well as with small businesses and a 501c organization. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Roosevelt
University and has a Certification in Production and Inventory Control from DePaul University.
Connie moved from Illinois to Texas with her husband in 1996. They settled in Double Oak, have been married for 27
years and have three teenagers. She volunteers at her church and with BSA Troop 265. When possible, they enjoy
traveling and outdoor adventures.

Amy Von Storch
Amy joined the company in March 2018 and may be the first person you meet. Her duties include bookkeeping, customer
service, and reception. She is very experienced in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online and has extensive project
management experience. She enjoys learning whats important for each client and loves letting clients know when their
tax problems have been solved.
Amy earned a BBA from the University of North Texas as well as an Associate of Arts. When shes not working, you might
find her doing yoga, training for a 5K, spending time with her two cats, or volunteering at the Humane Society of
Flower Mound.

Susan
Petersen
I have 25+ years in accounting and tax preparation. I started off doing taxes for H&R Block and eventually
opened up a home business doing taxes and accounting in Jemez Springs, NM, where Iived for over 30 years. I
also worked at Los Alamos Medical Center in Los Alamos, NM, where I was born, in the accounting department
doing payroll, accounts payable & general ledger for 3 years beforemoving to Flower Mound in 2006.
I proudly served my country in the U.S. Army and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in German from the
Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA and worked as a Linguist. I am married and live with my husband,
Steve, and my faithful dog whom I found on a ditch bank in NM. I have 2 grown children, 1 soon to be
daughter-in-law and 1 granddaughter whom I love spending time with.I received my IRS Enrolled Agent in 2015. My
interest include spending time with my granddaughter, reading and lots and lots of football. Go Cowboys!
